Voilà pourquoi les ancêtres Parata disent toujours : «Cette subsistance est mon dû». Nos ancêtres Tei-poi-te-marama et Tei-poi-te-here ont apporté et planté l’arbre sur notre terre PUTAHI de ANAA. Ainsi s’achève «La légende du cocotier». Le cocotier serait venu de l’île PUTAHI de ANAA, selon la légende transmise par nos ancêtres Parata jusqu’à nos jours.
